SUMMARY:Spring Concert
DESCRIPTION:The centrepiece of our season is Mahler’s great resurrection 
 symphony\, No. 2.  In 1900 Alma Schindler was learning composition from A
 lexander von Zemlinsky and the two began a romantic relationship but it di
 d not last much more than a year before she Mahler began a relationship. 
  They were secretly engaged before she told Zemlinsky and broke off her re
 lationship with him.  This programme highlights the contrasting styles of
  3 composers whose lives overlapped so much and who are all still remember
 ed and revered over a century later.\nWe are delighted to collaborate with
